Orrell Park Hotel

very close to Aintree, comfortable and warm. breakfast was great. Off road parking. we had 2 rooms both very spacious. decent size bathroom in one of the rooms. over all a great stay. the bed was low down in room 9, fine for us but no good if you struggle to get up. would stay again.

The lady who served us when we arrived was lovely and very accommodating as we needed to check in early to get the keys. She was very helpful. The hotel and room were nice and clean, although a bit old fashioned (not that it's a problem). The room was also surprisingly sound proof as we didn't hear anyone walking around in the morning (which you might have expected from a building like this). There's parking around the back which is useful too, but good bus and rail connections nearby. The breakfast we had the next morning was tasty, and they have a good little selection of hot food and cereals. Also good that it's included in the stay.

The hotel was cozy, mostly quiet, and we slept very well! Breakfast was great!

Great Breakfast - There is a small buffet selection of Fruit and Cereal, and a small Cooked breakfast choice. The staff are friendly and get you Tea/Coffee/Toast immediately, with a 15 minute wait for the cooked food. This is reassuring as we know that they only cook to order. All rooms are clean and you are free to come and go as you please. Outside breakfast, you won't see anyone unless you summon them. The WiFi is easy to connect to and good for all applications. There's a small intimate bar that serves drinks with indoor and outdoor seating. There's a supermarket and some shops in walking distance. Plenty of free parking on road, and in their car park. The nights are quiet with no traffic noise or trouble.

The location may be difficult to rate as it was 45 minute walk from our conference venue so not the hotel’s fault but it was an ok walk- breakfast was nice.
